Smile New to forum, well experienced with lucid dreaming.

      Yo,

      My name is, wouldntyouliketoknow?

      Anyways call me RJ

As I said In the title I might be new to this great forum (might be new but I already see it to be great) but I am well experienced with lucid dreaming.

But first, I should tell you a little more about me afore I tell you about my dreaming.

I am 17, (just showing off, you might understand later) I am also a 6"7 140lb dude with bipolar, ADD, marfans syndrome, and scoliosis. I've had a hell of a life for being only 17. I've lived in Oregon all my life, except for 3 years in and out of state residentials DFS in Missouri. I take like 14 perscription drugs a day, and you wanna know what? For all those traits some find as "crazy", most people who get to know me find that I am smart in a logic based thinking sort of way. Hell sometimes I think so much the theories I come up with (all based on logic) once exciting become depressing

That's enough about that. Now for the LD.

All my years as a likkle person, and even now to a big yet small point, I was afraid of everything. The biggest thing was going to sleep. I would have the most realistic bad dreams (at least from my perspective). I realized, and tried to tell people, that when you wake up from a bad dream that the shit hurts the heart like hell! Physically I mean, almost like a fist of lighting giving your heart a quick squeeze. In my bad dreams I usually couldn't move. Well in those ones (and others) they got so bad that while standing there had I realized I was in a bad dream I just closed my eyes and flexed my body, clenched my fists, all of this to reduce the pain before it came. Well this didn't reduce the pain, this process started wakeing me up from my dreams with that same pain whenever I used it. The only difference is I could use it at will and therefore lessen the fear that comes with the regular scary dream.

Although the first true lucid dream I had was the one that started my most used and most usefull tool while in a lucid dream, and that was the ability to fly. Cheesy enough? Well in my present state in any dream I'm in I have the ability to fly very well. Although it took practice and the flight got better after time. The original dream started with me walking around a town with Chucky (the doll yes) and being his accomplice, unwilling. Well as you all know if you stay and evil persons accomplice for long they don't mind expending you. So I wanted to get away from him. We were walking on a sidewalk and there was nowhere to run, so I didn't want to run cause I knew he would catch up to me. So I wanted to fly, I closed my eyes and started running as fast as I could thinking as hard as I could on flight. Wouldn't you know? I looked down at the ground, I was stilling running but I was lifting off the ground... BOOYAH BISICH! > keke I love sleeping

      Enough talking,
      RJ out

Hi RJ, from my experience with lucid dreaming - you are in control of your dream!!! nothing can happen to you - it is your dream and you are the one who is deciding what is gona to happen next... Next time in your bad dream you just call for me.... and I will send you an angel to protect you.... forget about the logic...it will work, you will see
Be happy & fly high (I know the feeling)

      Welcome to Dreamviews.

I am interested to know, does your scoliosis generally manifest in your dreams, when you are acting as 'yourself'?

      Just a reply

Sanjar: I appriciate the comfort given. I guess I didn't put in my post that the bad dreams were when I was likkle. That was back when. Now, however, as well experienced with lucid dreaming as I am (although I might not know all the terms) when a dream with freaky aspects occur I often use techniques like flight or the cheesiest of all, a lightsaber . One with LD, I am.

Archdreamer: No, not generally. Unfortunatly one of my downfalls with LDs is that I am so aware and it is so realistic, vibrant, and detailed that I know I in a dream. Therefore I might not feel the back pain and physical limitations, but it makes it ten times harder to lengthen the dream. I plan on attempting the timestop technique, hopefully this will help.

      ______________________________

Alot of the times I have a dream that I have had before, same setting character and overall scheme in the situation, however, it has a different go about to the story. For instance, I have had this dream several times where Aliens (you know, flying saucers) are coming to earth. The first few times when this dream was not lucid, it had two endings: One is where the were friendly, one where they are evil. The next time I had this dream I knew that they were coming, so it became lucid. Now from there each time I try something different, like trying to get the people out, fly up and fight them, rally up a defensive, or whatever I feel like.

Another thing is that when I have had different LDs most have made their physical landscapes form this island in which I (in control of course) can fly to any of the areas, which used to be single LDs. So basicly my LDs have been connecting not only in a physical sense (the island) but in a bigger, almost inhabital dream.
For example, in one of my LDs I was in the sky coming from another LDs scenario, being attacked by something flying near me. I had been fighting it with various attacks, but I was hit and I fell from the sky to a forest hitting trees on the way down, in turn knocking me unconsious. I was coming in and out of consiousness and seeing the figure dragging me through the forest, it was friendly however. I then became fully consious near beach, sorta like the north western US water although only in appearence. The thing that saved me walked up to me, and I saw it was a beaver. We talked and stuff, had some laughs. Eventually he told me that he wanted to have a family, so I told him in return for his kindness I would build him a Hut in which he could start and mantain this family. Now, like I said, this was an LD because the entire time I knew I was in a dream and that I had control. But I did and most times don't let that stop me from living in these alternate worlds. This Became the West side of the island, the beach and the forest became part of the middle.

Another dream in which became the southwestern part of the island, was based in Newport Oregon. This along with most of my dreams, I have had except I go about it in different ways, and it changes in different ways in terms of stories. From this dream I had saved someone from newport during a tsunami filled with killer whales, lol, and flew him to the northwestern part of the island in which the beaver and his family were happy to bring him back to health (the saved person might have been female, dont remember).

      Pheeeeew,
      RJ out.
