I've been having trouble sleeping as of late. I learned about lucid dreaming 5 days ago, so I got myself a dream journal and studied lucid dreaming a bunch. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to sleep very well for the past few days. I think it's the excitement of lucid dreaming that keep me awake. I lay in bed for hours, not able to sleep. Eventually, I got to a point where I begin to hallucinate, I go into mild SP, and I hear music, feel like I'm flying/falling/swimming. Patterns appear before my eyes. I have almost no dream recall when I go to sleep like this (4 second glimpses of cutting my toe nails, for instance, is all I can remember of a dream I had after I feel asleep in the manner above.) I was wondering If anyone could tell me of a better way of falling asleep quicker and easier? It would be much appreciated.
