Welcome. I'm a newbie as well! I joined the forum a couple days ago. This site is a great resource for LD's. Reading the information on this site has help me induce and practice LD's. Also, I'm reading Exploring the World of Lucid Dreaming by LeBerge and Rheingold - paperback for about $10. Many things crossover to this site but it's a good reference to have when you're out and about.
