Question How Should A Beginner Like I, Begin Lucid Dreaming?

Indeed How Should I Start My Journey Of Lucid Dreaming I've Had 5 Before I've Realized That This Was Common Enough That Others Practiced It. Each Of The 5 Of My LD's Were Started By Common Sleep And All Ended In Me Dying In Some Freak Way. So I Want To Know How To LD By Choice And Control It.

      Welcome!

Start out by reading some of the tutorials here, like this one. Then you can read up on some of the techniques: MILD, VILD, or WILD (harder). You may find that rubbing your hands, touching an object, or shouting "increase lucidity" in your dream help you gain control.

The most important part is to stay motivated and remember that it may be awhile before you start having vivid lucid dreams. It's like any other skill in life, you need to practice. Good luck!

well while WILDs may be harder i'd say its worth the extra effort if u can get it down but i started with DILDs by doing reality checks using a wristwatch with an hourly chime

      Unhappy My Wake

In All Of The Dreams I Can Recall Of Any Rare Lucid Dreams I Only Wake Up After Or Right Before I Die Or Get Injured Or If Something Shocking Happens Like Me Seeing A Relative Being Hurt.
What Does This Mean? Is It Some Sort Of Dream Sign?

They could just be nightmares, caused from stress, previous tramatic events, etc.

A Lot Of Times I'll Stare Up At The Celling Fan Or Another Object And Enter A Dream But I Still Stay Awake And I Can Control It In Some Manner But Not Entirely, Is This A WILD?

Try WILDing (I havent been able to do yet but got plenty of HI) or DEILDing which i found really effective this morning after a dream, but unfortunately when i re-entered a dream i wasn't in SP and woke up as soon as I moved

this DOES sound like a WILD(or maybe an alternative to FILD or a similar method)
so I personally would call it a WILD if you are going directly from a waking state to a dream state with no loss of awareness

      Welcome to Dream Views!

Being about to be killed in a dream is a great dreamsign. I used to get Lucid that way all the time.

The best thing you can do, is to keep questioning your reality throughout your daily routine. Keep the thought that you could be dreaming right now on the front of your mind constantly. It's just a matter of time before you think about it in your dream.

Remember to do many reality checks as well. That way, when the idea comes to you in a dream, you will remember to do an RC If your not already Lucid.

Wow I Guess That Makes Sense, But Does That Mean I'm A Natural Since I've Been Going Lucid Since 6? Then Again I Guess Not...Because I Wasn't Really Controlling It. If You Need Examples Just Go To That Dream Journal I Made.

Yeah, I'd say you have at least some natural ability then. I have always really been into my dreams. But I never had a Lucid until I decided I was going to know I was dreaming.

I did that sometime in my teens. I'll try to get to your journal one of these days soon.
