When I was about 7 years old I would be so excited when I got a LD. I figured out a way to get them, and I was wondering how effective it is compared to the more popular ones.
I would write something on myself and when I went to sleep, if it was gone, I knew I was dreaming, of if it was warped.
Still working on my first induced LD since I saw this site,

I really like that idea of writing something on yourself and then looking for it when you’re dreaming... Do you write the same thing or switch it up? I would figure it would be better to switch it up so that you don’t get used to seeing it... Don’t know, I will have to try that!!!!

You know, the way I see it, if it ain't broke don't fix it. Now, if it starts to not work then you can try something else but it sounds like you found a winner for yourself to induce LDs. If you have any questions regarding anything, including ways to control your dreams, don't hesitate to ask. We're all more than willing to answer you!

I usually cahnged it, it was kinda hard to do the same thing anyway because it was usually an abstract drawing.
I was afraid if i did the same it would show up the exact same in my dream.

Interesting method. Reminds me of the reality check on palm method. Have you tried to do it in the morning and look at it throughout the day? The more often you do it the higher the chance you'll have a lucid every night!

Of course, back then my methods were primitive and i did not share them with other people nor did i get any ideas from other people. I would only write something on ym hand before i went to bed.....or i would put a sticky note on me. sticky note works better

That's a cool technique, its a good way to get in the habit of doing RCs everytime you wake up.

I have been doing RCs throughout the day, but im kinda slackin...Im thinkin i need to work on my dream recall. I usualy only do RCs when something seems real, like i would in a dream
had my first dream recall this moring. The drink alot before you go to bed method really works

some people are naturally LDer's..i used to be when i was young, sense then i lost that power, still working on it...i don't need to do Reality Checks..cause i usually remember to do them in dreams if something malfunctions...strange huh? but anyway welcome..sorry for my babbling

Im kinda taking it slow right now...just working on my dream recall for the most part.
I wouldnt say i was a "natural" when I was a kid...I just have a very analytical(sp?) mind. I still do. It gets kind of annyoing sometimes tho, to me and other people.
