So because of schoolwork lately, my determination towards lucid-dreaming has been very low. However, yesterday night I decided to try my first WBTB WILD, which would also be my 2nd legitimate lucid dream. After roughly 45 minutes of laying in bed, I finally managed to enter a dream while lucid (somehow...I gave up the last few minutes and tried falling asleep, but I guess my mind was set on staying conscious). I woke up in the same room I fell asleep in (this happening both times I have had a lucid dream), and looked at my hands to perform a reality check. That was an experience in itself, due to the extra finger that appeared, but what followed was not quite what I expected. My first dream, although much shorter, ran very smoothly, yet in this one my movement was very slow and lethargic, and even though I told myself I could move faster, my body-movement stayed very limited and I couldn't do anything other than pace around in my room. One thing I was able to acheive, however, was to bring prolong my experience by rubbing my hands together, bringing me back from a temporary blackout during the middle of my dream. I was wondering if this has happened to people before (limited movement), and that this is just an obstacle one overcomes with experience? |
