      Interesting place.

I came to this site because I found the most interesting . I fact it was a movie that made me think about remembering how to control my dreams as I did when I was a child.I tried some of the things written here but in the end I just fell asleep and had a dream.Even if I was about 160 km from home in my dream, even if I was with friends I didn't see in 5 years it didn't make realize I was dreaming. But somehow it came to me to try to see if all of it was real so I jumped (in my dream) on a fence door ,it started moving and gave a sound that convinced me it was real,a man even came and asked me that I was doing.I remember thinking about light switches but I was outside, also the detail was incredible I actually felt the texture of the wood in my hands.I didn't gain control of the dream but maybe the next time I'll be better at it.

Next time, try the nose RC... Hold your nose as if you were holding your breath and try to breathe out of your nose...

      Hey, welcome to DV!

Nice to hear you already had a near-lucid experience. Make yourself at home and feel free to ask any questions you may have.

Check out the tutorial section if you haven't already done so. There's a lot of useful information there. You can also use the search function to find answers to questions you may have. A lot of questions have already been answered hundreds of times.

Also, if you haven't already done so, it's a really good idea to start a dream journal. It does wonders for dream recall and lucidity in the long run. There's a section in here where you can keep an online dream journal. It's pretty nifty.

Anyway, good luck on your lucid journey!

      hi, welcome!

its good to see another person has opened their minds to lucid dreaming. i have many friends who i've mentioned the site to but they all refuse to beleive you can control their dreams. oh well, their loss, eh?
good stuff. if keep at it you'll be flying and diving off buildings in no time.
I need my sleep. I need about eight hours a day, and about ten at night.
