Thread: 3 days trying had my first ld!!!

Hey ppl i have been trying to ld for 3 days and I got my first ld! woo
the first night when i started my dream journal i didnt remember anything the second night i remembered 1 dream and the third night i had a ld. I have also attempted WILD two times. I didnt have much control in my ld since it was my first time and i did alot of dream spins... i was blank actually i couldnt think of anything to do had no thoughts which sux.. but at least i had a ld.. can only get better right?

Congratulations! The first one is always so exciting.

WILD is impossible to do in my opinion, WBTB is easily the best method that I have ever tried. The success rate for it is apparently very high, so try a WBTB the next chance you get.

Lizard King, yes it was very exciting i think thats why i had to do so many dream spins, I havnt tried the WBTB, i might do that next... As for WILD I think if I could concentrate long enough I could do it. Both times that I attempted I was almost there and my body would start to feel weird and like almost there but then the phone rang.. messed it all up and the second time the cat jumped on me but i just needed a litle more time oh well im going to keep trying diff. techniques.

Trust me on this, it's unbelievable how much more detailed LD's become as you have more and more of them. Simply incredible.

Yeah, the third time I had one, I looked around and thought "wow, this is SO realistic!!!". It was shocking how real it seemed. Combined with the thought that one has God powers in this completely realistic universe is amazing.

Thats superb. Congratulations. It must have been different than regular dreams. Just remember the Lucid feeling, you may use it for further induction.

I'd say you are doing very well. Congratulations!

It helps to have a task in mind that you think about often during the day. That way when you become lucid, your mind (hopefully) will automatically think of the task and you will be able to focus on it. I've always got a task in mind for my next LD.
