Welcome to the forum!
Ofcourse you can still lucid dream if you have trouble sleeping. A lucid is still a dream, you just know it!
As long as you can sleep then you should be able to lucid dream!
Does this mean that techniques such as WILD can help me fall asleep in general? I better try harder then...
Sinani201, having trouble falling asleep can make lucid dreaming difficult but not impossible. I did a search on "insomnia" and found the following threads that might be of interest: http://www.dreamviews.com/community/...earchid=941049
WILDs will not necessarily help you fall asleep if you're having trouble sleeping.. tho the relaxation techniques that are sometimes used may help.

Or you could just ask for the spirit of peace to come on you before you go to sleep.
it works :)
You obviously have never had insomnia. :)
I would recommend Valerian root, but atm its under investigation by me because of my lack of dream recall right now. :P
