Hey.. Where to start?
Hi, my names Tyler. I'm completely new to this forum and to this Lucid Dreaming stuff. I'm 15.. If that matters or whatever.
As far as this Lucid Dreaming stuff goes, it sounds really interesting. But I have no where near started any thing of this sort. I might have experienced something like LD when I was younger, I've been semi-aware I was in a dream before, but I couldn't quite grasp control. So far the only control I can ever remember having is waking myself up from nightmares when I was younger.
Thing is, I'm the kind of person who doesn't remember all my dreams. I haven't been remembering my dreams for about a year, but a funny thing happened about a week ago. I tried sleeping in a different sleeping position (soldier position)

And since I started sleeping like that, I've actually been remembering my dreams. lol
So. I'm going to bed soon, and was wondering if anyone had a direct starting point tip for me or anything like that?
Also, can anyone read things in dreams? I've tried reading stuff but.. Nothing shows up.

First off, welcome to the forum, Tyler! :)
To start, keeping a dream journal should be your first goal - write down anything and everything you can remember. Recording your dreams will often lead to better dream recall, which will help with lucidity. Because what's the use of having a lucid dream if you don't remember it?
And about sleeping positions, I don't personally find one better than another (though everyone is different), but I've noticed that if I wake up and don't move or open my eyes, I can usually remember what I was just dreaming about. Then write it in the dream journal.
Have a look around the forum and let us know if you have any questions. Good luck and have fun!

Welcome to Dreamviews!
You should start by keeping a dream journal (always a good start), but also you can look in the tutorials section which will have a lot of answers to any questions you may have.
You can usually read things in dreams, but if you look away and look back they are usually different. There are a lot of other ways to tell if you're dreaming, and you'll have to find out which is the best for you. These are a lot of help when it comes to having a lucid dream; and I'm sure that with determination and confidence you'll be able to have lucid dreams.
I hope to hear from you and best of luck dreaming!

:welcome: to DreamViews, Tyler!
Not being able to read is a very common dream sign.
I don't know about the sleep positions tho...I'm a combo of suspicous, yet sensitive, rational, tough, and shy according to that!
Probably like horoscopes.
