Smile Greetings travellers of the unconscious world!

      Hi there dreamers.

Online I'm mostly known as Spores, or Space-is-the-Place on the Psychonaut forum

I've always been interested in dreaming and the world of the human mind.
Because of my Cannabis habit I haven't remembered much of my dreams the last few years and that's really a pitty because I love dreaming.
As a kid I used to have lucid dreams, but since pre-adolescense they vanished.

A few years ago I had a sudden out of body experience and since I was already interested in the human mind I've read up on a lot of stuff and also discovered Lucid Dreaming.
But I still smoked lots of Cannabis, so couldn't really remember my dreams.

      Last week I've quit Cannabis
(although not fully quit, I'm not doing it for a while and I'm going to do it once in a while)
So I thought I'd re-start my dream journal, wich only contained a few words from different dreams because of my stonedness
So yesterday a friend of mine gave me the URL to this site and I've been reading the introduction pages and some of the experiences.

Last night I had very vivid recall of my dreams and wrote them down this morning.
One of my dream signs is being on a high place and having the scared feeling of almost falling and usually I fall, but this time I was lucid for maybe a second and when I realised there was nothing to worry about the whole scenery changed.
Ofcourse I got totally distracted and went on just dreaming, but I'm already excited that my dream recall is improving.
I tried the technique of backwards recalling and to my big surprise it worked.

So, you'll probably will hear about my nightly adventures in the near future when I'll make a thread in the Dream Journal section.

I want to thank the makers of this site and forum,
greet everyone here and hope you can enjoy my stories in a while (and ofcourse I yours )

And I want to thank the one who thought of the backwards recall technique!!!

      Love,

      Spores

      Hello Spores!
Nice to hear you've quit the cannabis, and you sound like you're already well on your way to an amazing lucid
      YAY!
Consciousness: that annoying time between naps.

Good luck with your lucids! It seems you have taken the first step already.

      And interesting dream sign BTW.

      Thanks.

I've had that dreamsign for a long time.
Once in a while I recall dreams that have that particular DS.
Usually I wake up from it, but maybe I've had other dreams with it while I didn't wake up, but couldn't recall.
It was actually nice to not wake up and be conscious of it

I'm so psyched about recalling my dreams again

PS: I thought that the DS had something to do with my vertigo, but I've resolved that 2 years ago and still have it
