      Welcome to Dreamviews!

The MILD technique is pretty easy, and many people have found it effective.

Hopefully, yes. You may not necessarily have control, as control doesn't always come with lucidity. None of the tutorials are guaranteed - it can take time to learn to have lucid dreams. Don't be discouraged if you don't see results the first few nights.

Not technically, but its really helpful for dream recall. And improved dream recall means that you're more likely to remember your lucid dreams.

I didn't say that lucid dreams don't have control - just that it doesn't automatically come with it. Most people have control over themselves in a lucid dream, but not always over the dreamscape. Dream control can also be improved with practice, and one helpful thing is that making a machine to do something for you is usually more effective.

      What exactly are you asking?

The first step to controlling your dream is to get lucid. To do this, people do certain techniques, most of which are in the Tutorials. Once they're lucid, they can usually control their own dream bodies, and sometimes they can control the dream itself. If they can't control the dream, they try different ways of doing it, such as building a machine, creating a "lucid pill", or asking a dream character.

Edit: Nevermind, you edited the post I was answering. Good luck tonight!
