Thread: hallo

hey,

i'm not a n00bie. i found the site through a friend and i'm an avid dreamer... uhh right now i'm in chicago... i'm looking out at lake michigan and i can sorta see canada through the fog. silly canadians always using that fog as a veil so they can plot our demise. now i'm looking over to my right into the city and i see a naked woman writing checks out on her kitchen table... ahh yes the big city (and no she's far from "cute" by anyone's standards). so yeah i make typos so please bear with me on that... i do not mean to confuse you. i figure i don't have any questions really so i don't expect much feedback other than, "hey, welcome to the forums!" and things of that nature... maybe a banana or two but that's it. so really, i've been rambling to make my post seem thoughtful... but one can only do so much to appease the post whore hunters.

i don't know paperdoll looks pretty menacing over there... sitting... waiting... plotting... ohh yes, i wouldn't be surprised to find out she's canadian.

i'm just playing around. canadians aren't all bad. and thanks to everyone who responded; i now feel welcomed. i will do my best to uphold the virtues of this great forum, to preserve the freedoms set forth by our founder and idol (regardless of his nationality!). *holds hand over heart* these things i swear. *tear comes to eye*

yup...we're quite the contriving bunch. oh, and if you really strain yourself you may be able to sift through the fog and see my igloo next to the large sled dog stable. this is probably where i should say something like \"eh.\" ahwell...at least i don't have to sleep with a gun under my pillow. btw, despite what Michael Moore may say, most of us Canadians really do lock our doors.

pffft...she wishes. and speaking of wishing, has anyone heard the phrase "if wishes were horses, beggars would ride?" i used it the other day and just got blank stares from everyone.

i get the saying but i would've undoubtedly given you a blank stare had i heard it in conversation.
