      Hey people

Hello everyone, my name is Luke. I've been reading about lucid dreaming for about a year and hope to really experience it.

I had my first lucid dream September 1st. Of course, as soon as I was aware of everything the dream ended. It was very exciting though, as I had never really cared for dreams before.

Just wanted to introduce myself, Peace.

      Hi Luke, to Dreamviews!

Congratulations on your lucid dream! It may have been short, but it was still a LD!

Next time, try rubbing your hands together, spinning your dream body, and feeling objects in the dream. This should make it last longer.

Hey Luke, welcome to the forum

Good to hear that you've taken an interest for the past year, i'm happy that you had your first lucid dream, though it ended that time believe me things will improve, you were probably just excited by the fact tat you realised that you were in a dream and the excitement caused an awareness jolt and you drifted out. When you become lucid you have so many things on your mind that you want to do and when its all rushing around in your head it can make you forget that you just became lucid and that your in a dream, next time you become lucid, just stand there, fight off your excitement, and just remain calm and allow nothing to end it.

If you want any help or want to ask any questions please do so!

Think of your first LD as your first sexual experince.
The first experience is usually over quickly with some level of dissappointment.
Yet you enjoyed it so much you soldier on to improve and are allured by it.
As you get to do it more and more, you become better and more proficient.
      It lasts longer and longer.
      Same for Lucid Dreams.
Wait till you have a sexual LD. Now that is a challenge my friend.
