Um i just recently experienced my first lucid dream. It was awesome! I was freaking out though because it actually worked ( I've tried Lucid dreaming in the past and had no luck). So then something happened and i woke up any way. do i just get better at it as time goes by and as i get more experience in handling my dreams? or is there a technique? Im really pumped for going to bed everynight night now though!!:banana:

That's exactly how I felt after my first LD :D
The first thing you should do is calm down. Fully convince yourself that you are dreaming. Try looking around, telling yourself that this is all in your mind, it's a dream.
Basically, stay calm, and convince yourself fully that you are dreaming.
Now you're motivated :D You should have more success

Well, I've only had a few LDs. My first two were very short. But I've had 3 more since then, 5-10 minutes in length :D. So yes, it took me a good amount of time.Quote:
