      Help :)

      Hello fellow dreamers.

Well, during school today I was messing with Google and decided to type in 'how to control your dreams'. I came across Dream Views but didn't take it seriously. I recently came home and decided to check it out and see if this was all a trick or what. After reading, I have a major question.

Last night while laying in bed with the T.V. on I decided to turn the television off and lay down until I went to bed. I was thinking about this girl that I admire so much in one of my classes, and ironically I dreamt about her. Is this because I was thinking of her right before I fell asleep or maybe because of an encounter I might of had with her earlier that day? If so, is it possible to 'dream about what you want to dream about' by thinking about it before falling asleep?

Also. After dreaming that night, my alarm clock sounded at 7:10 A.M. I awoke, and hit the snooze. When hitting snooze I layed my head back on my pillow with my eyes closed and basically had the image of the dream I was having that night. I was conscience though, seeing as the alarm woke me up. Was I just thinking in my head about the dream I was having hoping I would get back into the dream since it was interesting, or was I sort of still into the dream dozing out of it?

I don't know about the second question.. you should be able to tell if it was still a dream or if you were just thinking about it...

Concerning the first question, it is definitely possible to think about something in the beginning of the night (or even during the day) and dream about it. Some people like to use this technique to get lucid - they think about being in a dream and realizing that they are dreaming, and with luck that is exactly what happens during the night.

      Welcome to the forum

Well seeing as Mes answered the first, I will answer the second. You sound like you were going to dream reentry there. Perhaps if you continued tp "doze off" you would have eventually gone back into the dream.
