      quick question

      At night, when I think about what I want to dream, I tent to have my mind focused on one thing, then when I'm about to fall asleep, I drift off and my mind is playing a verity of random sounds, at high speeds, will this effect my dream in anyway...

      Well the sounds won't really alter what your dream is about, or the events that happen in it.

      What you describe sounds very much like Hypnagogic Imagery. Actualy it is very good that you experience this, it means that you are close to succeding in WILD.
