hey guys, i have a question.

last night, i'm sleeping, and all of a sudden i'm looking around my room and everything is really clear (even more clear than normal). i remember saying to myself, "whoa" several times because i was fascinated with how different everything looked. but i'm not really sure if i actually said anything, or if my eyes were even open...

and then, after a few moments, i fell right back asleep.

also, i have never ld'ed before and am not really experienced in any of this....
so i guess this was a dream of some sort...

So you think that was a false awakening then? Dreams can definitely seem more clear than reality. Next time you wake up, be sure to do a reality check, then you'll know for sure.

my false awakenings always seem very real. they can be really tricky.

I remember onetime I was up in Oregon and before I feel asleep I looked up at the ceiling and it seemed to be moving or waving, almost breathing, and no there were no drugs involved. I think the mind does interesting things as you fall asleep. Ive always found that I have a rush of ideas before I dose off, like I subconsciously cant stop thinking about events in my life. Its very weird. I can relate to what you mean by very clear. I doubt you were having a dream but rather your mind was as I would put it decompressing or something of that sort. Fun stuff!
