Right, first off, i've been into these "Lucid Dreams" for awhile, but recently i've been having them a little bit more often. Also, my dream recall isn't bad, i've been working on it for quite awhile and now I can usually recall dreams fairly well. Now, my problem is, i'll start out a dream and know it's a dream or I might realize it's a dream at some point, either way, I run into the same problem. I can watch my surrounding, even pick things up sometimes, but anytime I try to move around alot, or do anything requiring alot of effort I can feel myself slipping out of the dream. I won't wake up but the dream will slip into chaos.
Last night in my dream I was in a van I think and I remember just looking out of the window at the surroundings. I was looking at the cloads and I saw that it looked as if they had been colored in with crayon or something. I then thought... "Wait a minute... hey I thinik this might be a dream!" and of course, it was.
I immediatly wanted to start doing cool stuff but I thought to myself "No, if I do, i'll lose it" so I instead observed my surroundings and thought i'de do a little experiment. I licked my finger! I touched my finger to my tongue and I could feel the wetness! I know that to many of you that might seem pretty mundane but it's the first time i've ever been lucid long enough to try anything like that. I then thought "Ok, now I'll interact with someone." but when I tried to get up and touch people I felt myself slipping out of the dream. Of course I did and it slipped back into complete unorganization. But still, not a bad LD eh?
Also, what's with all these techniques i'm hearing about? WILD, HILD, all that jazz, can someone explain to me what these are?
