      Call for Self Discipline

I have come to the conclusion that what I am looking for from this site is self discipline in my lucid dreams. I have had several emails with LucidDreamGod about this subject with both suggestions that I have rejected and taken to heart. I am open to any suggestions though.
My basic problem is I am having a perfectly good lucid dream and I have a thought that throws a monkey wrench into the whole thing. Sometimes I can fix it and sometimes I can't. It's kind of like the Star Trek episode "Shore Leave" if anybody is familiar with that. I need self discipline in real life also if that is related.

The other night I was having a grand old time dancing on the walls and ceilings of a huge house. When I was on the ceiling I stupidly thought I think I'll take off my shoes(they were magic elf shoes that I created so that I could dance on the ceiling) I fell about 3 stories and landed on my head and hurt my knee. The shoes were still on the ceiling. I was so mad that I woke myself up.
another example: I'm driving in a cute little volkswagon and I think wouldn't it be funny if I drove into some quicksand. Of course I did and the car sank and I was still in it so I buried my self alive.(that one really sucked)
I want to quit sabotaging my own dreams. I hope these are the kind of details you wanted. If not I'll try again.

Hahaha why would you even think about doing things like that? Hahaha. Personally sabotaging your own dream lol. Well I don't really know how you could discipline yourself as it is not a real life person who needs disciplining it is your dream self that need's disciplining.

Are you Lucid and very Aware at what is happening?

I was lucid in both. Both times I made a conscious decision to make those things happen. Actually it is not a decision, once a thought happens good or bad then it comes to life. I sabotage myself all the time that way. All I had to do to fix the elf shoe dream was to make more elf shoes or better yet just fly up and get them but I got mad at myself and woke myself up instead and ruined a perfectly fun dream. I want to stop doing that to myself.

Are you completely sure that that was a conscious decision? Do you do things along the same line in waking life?

Sadly, I detect sarcasm in your last reply. Fortunately I have received the advice I was looking for so I'll leave you to play and have fun.

      That wasn't sarcastic at all.

Don't worry Mes, she was being serious though. Not sarcastic in any way.
