Newbie:: Help with Acronyms

Ok.. I have been reading aroung this site and i need major help with the definition of some of the acronyms on this site (WILD, DILD, etc.) Could someone help me by maybe listing some of the more commonly used acronyms on this site and maybe a brief definition? Or maybe even a place on this site where i can find what they mean on their own. Keep in mind that if there is a completely obvious place on the site that describes them, dont mind me :p I tend to look over the obvious, but please, i really need help with this :) thank you

Don't worry about it. Took me a while to get to grips with it. Even now I still don't know what people are talking about!

Questions on WILDs:
I think i have had a sort-of WILD before, but im not sure. I tend to rest in bed and close my eyes in the afternoon. I will lay there for a while, and i will see the colors mentioned, and my body becomes stiff. Sort of tingly, and i cant move, and when i do, i find it almost impossible to get back to that state. It fits the description of a WILD, but ive never had an LD after that, for i almost always lose concentration. This seems a lot like meditation. Is there a difference?

Daydreaming:
I would think that day dreaming has a lot of similarities with LDing. I had one before, while in school, that i was walking down the hallway to get a drink at the water fountain. We were currently having a school meeting, and i kind of spaced out. My friend was talking to me during this, and when i ignored her for a while she started to shake me a bit. I apparently had my eyes open the whole time too, my surroundings having been completely displaced. It was really weird. Any comments on this?
