      hello friends,
      i recently purchased Dr. Stephen LaBerge's book, Exploring the World of Lucid Dreaming. i skimmed through it a little, but didn't know where to begin. any suggestions of stuff that i absolutely have to read? i kept hearing about the book, so i bought it. any help would be greatly appreciated.

      I agree, read from the beginning, however, you can skip the first few chapters if you are convinced LD is for real. Maybe you can read those later.

      I've been curious for a while now, what information does this book give that isn't available here?

      Only the publisher and printing dates of the book. =)

      Seriously now it contains a little bit of the history of Dr. L's research. As for techniques and experience, we have WAY more stuff than is in the book. It only covers the basics.

      It does delve into some of the Eastern things in a practical way... maybe I just haven't stumbled across it here yet. Other than that, the tutorials alone here are much more comprehensive than the book... plus the benefit of reading people's direct experiences with them.

      Good book though - I read it through last year and am reading it again.
