<span style="color:#2F4F4F">Alrighty....let me start of by asking that you don't get offended by my occasional sarcasm and offbeat humor- I promise its not that offbeat- more random than anything.
Finding this website was a shot in the dark. For the past maybe 5 years I've been experiencing what you folks call lucid dreams, in which I've been able to control various aspects of said dreams. It's a hard topic to discuss with other people, because it seems like a load of crap to them, and I completely understand; but I wish they knew how incredible this all is.
As of right now I'm a 22 year old male infantryman in the United States Army, and no, I'm not one of those gung-ho types, more like one of those "wow, you'll give me how much bonus money?" guys. I'm clearly typing all this in the hopes that at least one person reads and responds, again, a shot in the dark. I dunno how often folks post, or how huge the community is, but I figured I'd throw my hat into the ring and see what happens. I know what I'm capable of, and I'm anxious to meet people who share the same ability.
I personally feel dreaming is a gift, and being able to manipulate dreams is an even greater one, especially considering the sheer magnitude of some of my epics. I may be 22, but I've experienced a hell of a lot.
I look forward to engaging in dialogue about all this and making new acquaintences. And I hope I spelled that right, too. Heh. </span>

Welcome on board soldier! I'm always glad to see service men join, we've had a few here before.
Please look around, read, ask, debate and let us know how we can help you :)

Hey, Fist.
First, let me thank you for your service to <strike>my</strike> our country. I respect you guys and gals very much. Without people like you, I wouldn't have this great country to live in. Thanks.
Secondly, ditch the tiny text and weird font as your default. It's too small and so annoying to read full posts composed with it.
Thirdly, I'm rather new to the site (but not to LDing) too but, please accept my sincere welcome: Welcome!

What's up, FotNS?
Welcome to Dream Views. I'm pretty sure you'll find out how large (and relatively close-knit) the community around here is, fairly quick. It's pretty well-known to all of us how hard it is to speak to most "other" people about lucid dreaming, so I'm sure you'll be glad to know that that's not a problem here. Heh. Like Seeker said, if you have any questions, comments, random psychological impulses; share 'em. :cooler:
And Nice choice of screenname. That's one of the best anime movies, ever. :putemuppunk:
