Welcome!

Keep practicing. I suggest getting some reading material: "Exploring the world of Lucid Dreaming" by Stephen LaBerge will tell you everything you need to know, not that you can't get everything from the knowledgeable members here.

I've had a lucid in a nightmare before too, and tried pinching myself and just about everything else. The best plan in those situations is to jump through a wall or do anything that might change the scene and the emotion involved.

The fact that you've had two in one week is great! Try telling your subconscious ,picturing yourself in a situation where your talking to a DC, that you'll gain lucidity the next time that happens. Sounds like a dream sign.

Also, a quick note to Shadow. When I first started I had about the same luck. Funny enough, the moment I gave up trying is when the lucid dreams started coming. Maybe you should take it easy for awhile?
