can somone pleas help me i think im doing this wrong

i go to bed and repeat i will remember my dreas over and over but i cant help but think of other things at the same time the i forget what i was saying to myself ive tried the brain wave generator all it did was give me a headace ive also tryed playing a pre recorded loop of myself saying i will remember my dreams compleatly it plays all night but dosent help is threr another way to improve your recall that im missing or am i just crewing up??? i need some major help (im getting a headace from being mad at myself)

Personally I don't think you should buy all the stuff that says it can help induce lucidity. Just use your brain. I do it on my own with out help.
Do you have a dream journal and record your dreams after each dream period? That is one of the most important tools to help recall.
Also give yourself time, I know its been a month but everyone is different, some people have dry spells of 3 months . Also have self belief all the doubt isn't going to help.

the most important thing to do is not to worry, i know that you want to lucid dream, and so do i but it takes time, with me a hypnosis tape from remotehypnosis.com helped me...it gave me 2 lucid dreams in 2 days, it doesnt work for me anymore though, and now you have to pay for it...and the first ever lucid dream i had was by thinking of lucid dreaming from the moment that i woke up to the moment i fell asleep, that will adventually work becasue it is being fed directly into your subconciousness...

another thing that could help would be books or films to do with lucid dreaming, that worked for me so well that i actually pulled someone into my dream to make it a shared dream by watching all the nightmare on elm street films, although it gave me rehicring dreams about freddy krueger tring to kill me, actually those helped too because it made me turn lucid...

my advice is this:
- get a dream journal if you dont already have one,it really helps...
-dont get so wound up about failing, because its bound to happen,
believe me i know...
-and stick at it eventually you will succeed and when that day comes it will feel good to know that you put alotof work in it and that you have succeeded...

listen to these 2 they know what they're talking about. All i have to say is do start a dream jornal it helps more than u know

Hi blade Try not to get discouraged and angry - this will only make it harder on yourself. Like sometimes trying TOO hard can be counterproductive. Everyone is different, so you can't really put a time limit on it.

So you are having problems just recalling dreams at all, right? As the others suggested, the dream journal is a great start. I know what you're thinking - "what am I going to write in a dream journal if I can't remember any dreams?" Well, recording how you feel when you wake up and that you didn't remember any dreams at all is a start. Anything dream- or sleep-related can go into your journal. Just starting the journal will encourage your subconscious to remember more dreams because you know you'll need to write them down later.

Also as the others said, you may have periods of time when you can't remember any dreams at all. This is common and happens to just about everyone. Just remember that EVERYONE dreams every night, and you're bound to remember one sooner or later.

Some people use different foods or vitamins to help increase recall, but I've never done any of that. There's a lot to say for the placebo effect, so you can try that stuff if you'd like.

Another thing you can try - when you wake up in the morning, don't move or open your eyes. Stay completely still. Concentrate on what you were just thinking about or dreaming. Let the images and feelings flash through your mind and try to work your way backwards, like "ok, what was I doing before that? And before that?" If you can't remember anything specifically but only tidbits or flashes of something, try to think of a keyword to describe it, so when you open your eyes, you can quickly scribble it into your dream journal. Or if you can't describe but can only see it, try to sketch it. The key is getting something - anything- down on paper. Sometimes you'll remember a dream or feeling from a dream in the middle of the day due to something jogging your memory. Try to write it down as soon as you experience it. Keep track of all this stuff in your dream journal. Your recall should improve little by little.

Just keep plugging away and don't get disappointed. Think positive - if you think you won't remember your dreams, you probably won't. Reaffirm to yourself that you're going to remember something tonight. Don't overshoot for a whole epic dream recall, start with small goals like remembering a person or a place.

Im having reallyu bad recall latly due to reglecting my dream journal... i've been waking up with no time to write in it due to work.
If you want my advice, forget all this brainwave generator crap and self indicing dream tapes, they wont work. or at least havent worked for me. Just Go to bed and as your dropping off, tell yourself then and there and dont let go of it "I WILL dream tonight and i WILL remember it". When you wake up, write them down WITHOUT FAIL. when i did my DJ i was able to recall 5 dreams in one night, made me kinda wish i had a bigger notepad. but since i've been too rushed and neglected it, im remembering crap.

if you wanna lucid dream, build your recall
if you wanna recall better, make a dream journal
and if you wanna do that, you gotta have the willpower to do it.

just dont try to force yourself to have a dream, it can make you lose sleep and fail recall. just tell yourself you will.

i hear its pretty rare even in the lucid dream world lol
i shared a dream with my bro, but it was so long ago i can barly remember much about it lol but i do remember talking about some stuff, waking up and talking with my bro, and we began to recite what we dreamt exactly the same word for word lol

ok im starting to get the hang of it ive been waking up via alarm at about 4 in the morning i couldent do this befor becous i had to work but know that school started by boss i working at the school so i can sleep in to catch up on my sleep ive started a dream journal and have three small entries.

oh yah ive experienced something wierd in one of my dreams i jumped realy high i jumped so high i couldent see the ground then i woke up i think i jumped right out of my dream or i could have scared myself awake du to my hitrophobia (frae of hights) hey is there a dream phobia?

Hi, its a two way thing, try a soft approach rather than an I must approach. Use your thoughts kindly ie I warmly welcome a lucid dream experience into my dreams tonight. Just repeat it from the heart a few times then let go and forget about it and see what happens.
