i'm new... be gentle!

hey everyone,
my name is monster, thought i would introduce myself.
i am not new to dreams, as i have had many crazy ones...
i came to this site in search of revitalization in my interest of any kind of dream.
i am glad that there is a place like this for dreamers everywhere! :)


now i'm not letting you all off the hook without a couple of newbie questions:
1) how do i get an avatar?
2) what image hosting site do you all use for the purpose of posting a sig or avatar?
3) i added a sig pic, but i don't think it is showing up. is it b/c of the format i have the link in?
(it's in [IMG][/IMG] form)

Hey there and welcome to the forum!!

1) Find an image on/download an image to your computer that is a 120x120 JPEG/GIF<25KB, and upload it where it says, "Load avatar!
2) Imageshack
3) It is showing up, but it is far too big! Max sig size should be 450x150 and < 150KB
