It seems like everytime I realize i'm dreaming I just wake up. I remember my dream, but am to tired to write it down. Then I fall back asleep and it happens again. Prolly 4times a night

Firstly, welcome to the forum!
I think it's a good sign that you're waking up about 4 times per night. That means you're waking up after REM cycles and after dreams. This is a perfect opportunity to write those down. Yes, I know you're tired, but LDing takes a little work, and you gotta be willing to put in the effort. Just jot down a few keywords or notes, just enough to jog your memory in the morning. Then write the whole dreams down in your dream journal.
As for the getting excited and waking up each time you're lucid - this happens to a lot of people. Basically, it just takes more practice to be able to calm down and try to stabilize the dream. The more you get into routines of recording dreams, and any techniques you use, having an LD will be more frequent and you may not wake up so quickly.
Good to hear you're at least gaining lucidity, though! That's a huge step in the right direction. :)

It is common to wake up upon becoming Lucid. The way to stay Lucid is to keep calm, and not get too excited. Let the dream flow. And as for writing it down, try to do it, even if you are too tired. Or maybe think about it for 10 minutes in the morning.

I can re-enter and usually do. While falling back to sleep i'll tell myself what I wish would happen in my dream and it usually does, but I have no control while in it. I keep trying thoughQuote:

Welcome to the forum.
I find that using a red-LED flashlight to light my dream journal in the middle of the night is less disturbing to my nervous system making recall easier, less disturbing to my wife making home life easier :D , and makes it easier to go back to sleep.
As for staying lucid, start by staying as calm emotionally as you can. Once you master that, then there are other techniques for staying lucid when you feel that eventual pull to go back to the body.
Perhaps you are just to excited in your dream to have a full LD. But hey, it's a start. Make sure that you remain calm when you realise it is a dream, or else, you won't be relaxed and you will awake.
When you realise you are dreaming, stay calm remember this your dreams cannot hurt you, I usually just reach lucidity without much effort i find that thinking of nothing before sleeping helps to take you there, rather than thinking of an senario where you are. The key is to realise you are dreaming.
Once you realise, you are like you are in the real world, with thought and conciousness, it feels real and you are proberly more fearfull as you forgotten you have fallen asleep.
Remember you can wake yourself up at any time.
Funny you have problems staying under, I sometimes find it hard to wake.. I had lucid dreams as a child, and never knew what they was, I call them nightmares today. I flew on my first lucid dream after realising i was dreaming that was. It will happen be calm and collective look at the evidence and do not panic. :-)
