Newbie... ready for hazing!

Hello all! I'm new here *captain obvious* and I like the looks of this place! I haven't really experienced Lucid dreaming, and have never really been interested in my dreams period, but after recent events and dreams, I've been thinking what they mean a lot.

Well, a little about myself. My name is Travis, I'm 16 years old (I'm a young-un) and I love to act, and play music. I belong to two theatre programs around my town. One in school (One-Act. We do competitions and stuff) and a small Fine Arts group. (Just for leisure activities. We perfrorm plays for schools, youth centers, etc.)

I also play bass in a rock band. OLDIES rock band. No new stuff. :P We're pretty much a modern day Aerosmith... although they're still around, we're younger and fresher. Haha.

Just like Gwen said, there are a lot of great people here, with enough subjects to keep even those not That interested in dreams interested. But I think your lack of interest may change after being here for a while. If you have any questions to help you get started, don't hesitate to ask.

i don't possibly see how you could remain uninterested in lucid dreaming after poking around here a bit. all the moreso because you are obviously an artist (inthe general sense of the word), and LDing has so much to offer as far as creativity.

just imagine acting in a dream where every character around you is a product of your imagination :wink:

I too, am a musician...but been doing it for a little bit longer...been bashing an axe for almost 30 yrs now...and it's good to see youngens picking up the 'old school' stuff!

I am partial to Sabbath...pre-Ozzy break-up that is...and my 17 yr old son is doing it justice as well.

All musical things aside, I / we are all here to help you on your LD quest!

First off, welcome, Moonlight :) On behalf of the Dream Guides here at DV, I'd like to say that we try to keep the initiation practices to a minimum.... (because it's more fun for us if we have you all to ourselves) I'm also a bit of a musician, but I'm more of a choir singer and clarinet player.
