Waking up :(
Well after a few one or two weeks of trying, im finally begining to realize when im dreaming, the problem is that just when i realize i am, my brain becomes too concious, and i start waking up, i can feel it and im always like (omg noooo, im waking up!), i feel the weird paralizis with numb body for a second or two and tadaaaaa.. im awake :(
Anyone know a way to stop this from happening?.
PS: last night i somehow didnt wake up, my L.D. was still not very lucid apparently because i was convinced that the blue monster instead of me wich lended me his club was helping me to realize i was dreaming, and i had to break this glass in order to gain control of the dream (dont ask me why), but just when i was about to hit the glass the phone rang and it woke me up, damn luck :(.

i had this problem in the beginning (and still do quite often).
i think it is mostly a matter of learning what state of mind allows the dream to last, and increase in lucidity, and what state of mind after acheiving lucidity causes one to wake up.
i do not think i could explain it, especially as it is probably different for different people.
personally, whenever i realize i am lucid now, i try to stay completely calm, and avoid thinking too much. then i typically use the hand rubbing, or staring at my hands method to stabilize the dream before trying to do anything else.
this is probably more common than you might think at first. keep at it, you'll get past it soon enough :)

oh, and when you feel yourself waking up, and your body vibrating in bed, don't move a muscle. i know its hard, especially because one is frustrated at waking up, and wants to stretch or sigh, or think about what they could have done differently.
don't do any of this. stay completely still, clear you mind, and try to maintain the vibrational threshold. then attempt a WILD. with practice, this can be an excellent way to re-enter a lucid dream.

Good advice - I'm also going to try some of the things you mentioned.
