Hello everyone i've got a question!

I've been trying to have an LD for like 2 days now, but none yet, I'm just wondering, because I tend to sleep with my tv on, and I'm wonder if that may ruin my chances of having an LD??

btw, I love this forum its so awesome! ^_^

How are you trying to have an LD? Do you keep a dream journal?

Anyway, it is usually not a good idea to have something as random as a TV on while you sleep, but if it comforts you than I guess it's all right. TVs can easily break your concentration while trying techniques.

Also, when waking up to record your dreams, the TV may distract you and make you forget your dreams.

Yea I still sometimes use my TV to get to sleep as well. Does your TV have a sleep timer on it, so it turns off automatically. When I do WBTB and go back to bed, I find it very difficult to get to sleep sometimes, so I put the TV on timer. I find it can help me stay in a lighter sleep so I dream more. But im trying to stop using the TV as an aid, I'd recommend doing the same as it only gives you an abnormal sleep pattern and quality.

I'm going to try out using a timer, but im going to have to set it really late lol when I was very young, I remember I used to have a timer on the tv, exactly when the t.v. turned off no matter how late, I would wake up instantly. @_@

However, I have been able to remember my dreams, and I've been recording them, the only thing I can't get used to doing is the RCs. But I understand that I've got to practice.
