You pretty much HAVE to get Exploring the World of lucid dreaming. Anyone who posts after me (someone might have posted by the time this is done) would have said that as well. This is a book by Stephen Laberge and it discuses in depth many methods of inducing lucid dreams and why they work. Very good book... you have to get it.
Any other books someone can suggest?
i second the first recommendation.
as well, i have heard patricia garfield has some excellent books, although i have yet to read any. in the near future...
In addition to LaBerge, I'd reccomend Patricia Garfield's "Pathways to Ecstacy " and "Creative Dreaming"
Another book that may be of interest is "The Tibetan Yogas of Dream and Sleep" by Tenzin Wangyal Rinpoche. This book is from a Tibetan Buddhist perspective which might be a barier to some. But it is a very interesting book.
For those with low funds, the LaBerge and Garfield books should be available through most libraries.
Sadly, I am too cheap to buy a book. So I guess Garfield will have to do until I get my hands on the book written by Laberge!
How about checking out your local library? Even if your local one doesn't have it, you can usually have an affiliated library send over their copy to your library.Quote:

Lucid dreaming is not a particularly active field is it? Aside from EWLD, there really is not much good literature out there.
I was casually browsing my local bookstore and I found it among the discount books! I bought it for 2.99.....along with a REALLY old Patrica Garfield one.
