My name is Kirian, but you can call me Seda, or Silk, this is my first time in a forum dedicated to this topic, i'm not a native speaker, so if you see any grammar failures, you're free to correct me. I've had multiple interactions with lucid dreaming and sleep paralysis through all of my life, and recently, i started to write my dreams as a hobby, i've read books about them, my favorite one being, "El Arte de Ensoñar" from Carlos Castaneda, and played underground games like Yume Nikki and LSD Dream Emulator. I love liminal spaces, surrealism and abstract art, i also do photography about them, i publish most of my pics on my instagram account, paisajes_kis, if you want to get an eye into it.

I believe dreams are portals to alternate universes and/or dimensions, doors to deeper forms of consciousness, and a form of contacting with other entities, people, animals, plants, or insects, as well as those who passed away. I believe that all consciousnesses are connected by a will, an energy, a soul, maybe that's what "God" is. Who knows. These are just my beliefs anyway, and have no way to prove them to the world.

I'll present myself through what i consider, one of my best dreams.

"Protectors of the Subconcious"

In a panoramic view, like if i was flying, i saw my backyard, a bigger version of it, covered in hills and lakes, some kind of mystical music played on the background (sounded like the Inverted Stone Tower Temple from The Legend of Zelda Majora's Mask), the sky was covered in stars, and a incredibly bright crescent moon reflected its blue aura through all of the place, into the lakes and hills, i saw a marble statue, a very femenine figure, she had no face, and was perched on one knee, and with one arm outstretched she held a sword, with a golden handle and a silver edge, her hair was like fine golden filaments, lighter than the air, for it seemed to float. The largest lake, was in front of her. On the lake's shore, there was a split trunk, in one of its branches, an Owl, covered in black feathers, looked at me with his red eyes. On the other edge of the lake, there where some boys climbing a slide, the owl from its eyes shot a green ray towards them, making them disappear. I approached towards the statue, and i asked:
- Where are they now?
Her head turned into a CRT Television, and i entered inside of it. And i fell into an infinite spiral of blues and pinks, then, a big white globe, appeared and showed me what appeared to be, two versions of myself, a femenine and a masculine version, in the form of heads, a girl with white hair, and a boy, with brown hair.
I then returned into the lake, and somehow, i understood what i had to do. I started to walk calmly around the lake, and found a cave at one of the edges, inside the cave, a wooden gate was waiting for me to open it. And as anyone would do, i opened the door.
I was now in a swamp, covered on gigantic water lilys, that made some kind of route towards some kind of log cabin, around me, gigant trees came from the water, only the blue silohuettes where visible, and the vines that hanged from them, now it was a beautiful full moon, it felt like a very early dawn, with the biggest moon i ever saw.
When i tried to walk into the lilys, they sanked into my foot, making it imposible to normally make my way into it. So i just did my best frog pose, and started jumping, that seemed to work.
I finally arrived at that cabin, the two windows at the side of the door were glowing orange, there seemed to be someone inside. I opened the door, and the water lilys continued into a thin corridor, towards another door, on the upper part of the concrete walls, there were tiny windows that showed a purple twlight, i made a camera appear in my hands, and started to take photos of my sorroundings, i got kind of sad, knowing i would never see those photos again.
The next room was more of a cubic form, the lilys were ordered in a sine wave pattern, the same tiny windows could be seen, as well as the eternal twilight, however the walls were now covered with moss, and vines hanged from the ceiling. I started to wake up, but i did my best to keep myself dreaming, until i got to the "last" room.
It was quiet, everything was illuminated by an old orange lightbulb, on my left, i could see a window to another room, with a door on its side, secured with a lock, on the forementioned window, mannequins, or people acting as mannequins, were dancing and jumping with a solemn expression on their faces, for some reason, i wanted to attack the mannequins, and destroy them, there was another door in front of me, that didn't had any lock on it, yet, i decided to go into the mannequin's room. Knowing it was a dream, i made a key appear, and opened the lock, i entered, thinking i was prepared for what it was coming next, but a strong sensation of impotence, strook me, and i couldn't move anymore, then, all of the mannequins started to grab me and destroyed my whole body, dislocating my arms and legs, like if i was one of them, i didn't feel any pain regardless, but the sensation of dismemberment still gives me chills to this day, then, i woke up.

Maybe, if i didn't enter that room, i could continue my journey into that crepuscular world. I hope some day, i can submerge myself into that dream again.
