Hello there!
Well, I wouldn't exactly classify myself as being new. As it turns out, I made an account here 12 years ago. A lot has changed since the early days of this forum, but at the same time, not much at all has changed in the past 10 years or so. This is so trippy... maybe I'm dreaming?
After being really active for about 2 years or so, I gradually started visiting less and less as real life stuff took priority over my sleep life. I think I am ready to dive back in at least for a little while as time allows. I enjoy sharing and helping what I know with others and this forum has always been a great channel for doing that. I struggled really hard for about 6 months before I had my first real LD and I would like to think that experience qualified me to help others along the way that struggled as much as I did. It was not a natural process for me at all and so it took lots of training and perseverance. I have unofficially "coached" three people in the real world to have their first lucid dream, and it was a very rewarding experience.
That all being said, I know I still have much more to learn, and a lot of years of research and trial and error to read up on. So I hope to see you guys around. Are there any other old farts hanging around? Maybe we should have an old persons club if there isn't one already. It would be nice to see some old "faces" around again.
Cheers
