How to stop lucid dreaming , sleep paralysis and astral projection ? Help!

Hello all I am need to of some help if it is even possible

(Skip to bottem if not interested in experiences and the direct questions are at the bottem )

Since I was young like 10 upwards I've always had very bad nightmares horrific actually reacurring ones that's I still remember to this day . But it wasn't until I was 17 that I was having lucid dreams as I had the same dreams over and over I knew they were dreams and could control them but the colour always seamed to turn grey and I'd lose my vision and the dream would collapse.

Anyway let's get into the main reason I need help, sleep paralysis first time I was 18 I'd awoke from I awoke from a nightmare of something chasing me in a mountainous field to my bed and the I was jumped on by this thing it was white lanky and had the face between a horse and a human that shrieked and gnawed on my face which felt 100 percent real I had the dream at least 10 times within 2 weeks first time I freaked cause I thought it was real after a few times I developed a strong ability to wake myself up when every I couldn't move although sometimes I didn't because I didn't want to let it know I was afraid I would fight every muscle to punch it then wake up haha

Anyway fast forward to 20 I've had every sleep paralysis I have experienced are something choking me, sitting on me, presence in the room sitting on the bed , imp thingy whisper in my ear, succubus , a witch that puts sharp objects through my body, a demonic spirit hovering just above my body breathing fumes out of me or into me i don't know. None really scare me anymore as you see these use to happen from anywhere to 1-6 times a night I found the trigger seems to be heat that if I sleep with duvet on I'll most certainly have them and if I don't move straight away when I awake myself from these ill just continuously fall back into the nightmare.
Only one has really scared me I awoke from a collapsed lucid dream but as lknew the paralysis was coming I tried to awake my self as I did I felt something chase me and grab me caught me halfway awake he grabbed my chest and put his head very close to mine he had a fairly small bald head with shadows instead of eyes and mouth also a spiky red flames emulated from him like it was his aura.
His head faced one way but was starring into me and whispering quickly into my ear which I don't know what he was saying I could hear him Clearly but couldn't make out the words sounded like gibberish he had a hold that I could escape until it loosened and I could fully awake which it seemed I was fully conscious anyway after that I was shook up a lot and the memory is engrained into my memory so messed up the fear I felt.

These days I constantly have astral projections a lot of them are I have no eyesight and I am being tossed and flown around by random things so I trust them as I have no vision and can't move my like a rag doll lol ? I have these daily and I want them to stop where are they taking me ? Why can't I see? I had only 2 proper astral projections both from the same night after heavy drinking one I was awoken by something that hugged me shot off into the sky I had no vision until we arrived at a beautiful field with a base ball stadium there was two guys their who were spoke chatted to me the seemed like they weren't from this era and had heavy usa accents I then got take to a mansion that was packed like a fancy ballroom that definitely was old school as where I danced with this girl. Anyway second one that is even more vivid I was flying with this woman she was naked had massive wings ( don't remember the flapping but she had them) and was cover in red stripe like markings and her skin had tinge of that colour you skin goes when you have a rash. Any who we were fly and she asked if I was gonna come with her to which I replied yes asking as I can see we flew over this awesome landscape that seemed to be straight out of a story book . We arrived at the top of a grassy mountain where there we clouds and a group of people were there reminded me of like a market place I spoke to them but can't remember what about and they gave me this plant I ate (thought it was marijuana) at some point my paranoid self kicked in and looked at the woman and thought she was a devil and freaked . The people told me to calm down but I was agitated so I rand down the hillside all of a sudden it started to rain as I neared the bottom was flooded I then turned around to see the very same thing still undeterred I ran to dive in at that point I a croc emerges the surface but I didn't care then all of a sudden a hippo burst out the water and charged at me at that point I woke myself up aha now I have some questions.

How do I stop these dreams all of them I'm over it is their any medication I can take ? and I know marijuana works but I can't do that due to job
Also are these dreams (lucid/paralysis/astral) just new ways of my mind trying to scare me? And due to the regularity of these happens a lot does that mean anything mentally? Am I okay do I need professional help? Thank you for your help sorry about the long post and probably a messy one as I am on a phone.

Hello there! I'm sorry you have had such unpleasant sleep experiences. In a way, a lot of us here have gone through something similar, but perhaps on a different scale. Many lucid dreamers have started by having nightmares, usually as kids. However, nightmares can happen at any age and time.

What we have learned from these occurences is gradually not to be afraid. An important part of this is to understand that above all, one is safe and there are no bad creatures or anything else of the sort after you. Another very important thing to realise is that one's mindset determines these experiences - if you are afraid and expecting something scary to happen, it will will because you are actively creating the dream environment, including during transitions to dreams - what you call sleep paralysis.

So, begin by being determined that you will no longer be afraid of these events, that you are in control and if anything is to happen, it will be a pleasant experience. It is possible to have a good experience, for example to hear beautiful music or seeing amazing scenes. Ultimately, it is about being in control of oneself. This can be achieved gradually with practice.

I have never succeeded in WILD (tho I have done one DEILD) but in failing I have been in sleep paralysis
Perhaps I just wasn't as far in as your waking to it, but I always found that tho I couldn't move my shoulder or leg, I could always wiggle a finger or toe and break the paralysis nearly instantly.

As for waking up, you should just be able to wake up by wanting to.

As for Astral Projection... Whatever you wanna believe I guess
most of Dream content is from expectation if you go to sleep deeply worried about this stuff then your likely setting up an expectation of it happening, tho every night would seem a bit extreme.

as for being blind or losing dreams, its the opposite of what your asking, but stabilization is the key to ending these (but staying in the dream intentionally of course). When ever I go blind I just wait and expect sight to return, usually it does. If your a rag doll then I suppose you wouldn't be able to but I find walking and seeking door handles with my hands helps, when I find a door I open it and sight returns, sometimes just walking will bring sight back

as for drugs most drugs that suppress dreams do so only for part of the night and cause more dreams latter on so that would also be the opposite of what you want. Most people don't remember their dreams so fall asleep to some distracting noise or set noise to increase while your waking time approaches that way you might wake from a terrible nightmare and then be distracted and forget about it right away. If you dwelling on the things and running them thru your mind (especially on falling asleep, but also on waking) your just asking for them. When you wake up from a nightmare start listing all the things you have to do that day, and remembering all the things you should have done the day before, and don't think about dreams, that should drive them away, eventually maybe you'll stop dwelling on them, and start forgetting them as you awaken.
Sure LUCID DREAMS are all fun and games until someone loses a third eye.
