Hello Everyone
Hello everyone! I figured I'd introduce myself here.
I am Anok. I have been messing around in metaphysical communities of various sorts for the past 10 years... First and foremost I practice a very spiritual form of magic and am a student of a different organization, but since my teachers' focus there is not primarily lucid dreaming, I've decided to join up here in a stroke of self-motivation. My primary purpose for LDing is active introspection and self-mastery. Dream Yoga as it is presented here seems very up my alley.
I have been lucid dreaming for several years now with varying consistency, but I hope, with your help, to reach a skill level where I can lucid dream at will. I have had my fair share of experiences with LDs as well as a handful of Beyond Dreaming topics and would love to share what I can as I learn from you all.
Of particular interest to the scientifically minded, I majored in psychology and was trained in (and still have access to) electroencephalography research equipment (EEG, brainwave measurement tools) and am open to any ideas for experiments for the next half year. I can also run experiments based on reaction time which I can run on my own computer, but those might take a little more creativity to relate to lucid dreaming.
In any case, I am glad to be here and I look forward to getting to know you all.
Sweet dreams,
Anok

Welcome Anok. Spiritual magic, interesting man. There's a ton of helpful information around here, and Dream Yoga seems to be popular. I tried it for a couple days and felt it was too hard for me to concentrate on senses and visualising. But, I recently realised I was trying too hard and needed to be more passive which has made visualising etc a lot easier.
Definitely going to give it another go soon. Hope the technique works out for you.
All the best man.
