Hello all,

Name is Chris, just want to check this place out and dig for information. I also like to use Erowid's site for spiritual/dream/drug information, but unfortunately I have not found an answer to a recent set of dreams that happened to me while dreaming last night. Google, nor my typical sources of information have been of any help, unless I'm blatantly overlooking the fact I had my first lucid dream, in which I have been attempting, so I'm a bit excited.

I recently have been trying to remember my dreams in fine details, but it's very complicated. Instead of focusing on the objects and signs in my dreams, I seem to fall towards the actions being conducted by me in my dreams, last night was a break through, to me at least, that I might have completed the ability of taking control of the dream, or intercepting the outcome due to me remembering, during my dream, what was about to happen.

So let me explain,

Last night I had a series of dreams with no interruptions. The dream was the same every time which ended with a couple of projections of people I have never met would destroy and take over the area/people I was protecting including myself. The 4th time the dream started over, I knew what the outcome was going to be and I took control in my dream and fearlessly destroyed the projections in a way that is so barbaric, I'm not sure it would be proper to post here, but I'll take the chance. I was able to take control and change the outcome of the dream by beating the projections (bad guys) I mutilated one with my hands, lots of blood, gore and mutilation, while the other projection stood by watching as if he was frozen in place, showing no signs of emotion. I then moved on to kill the other projection by biting his right eye out of his face and spitting it on the ground. At this point the body hit the ground and I instantly woke up and wrote down my dream.

The dream setting was at an enclosed concrete warehouse with a sea dock on the bottom floor, almost like a maze from the top to the bottom, but no matter each time I was able to make it to the bottom and knew the correct paths to take to reach the dock in time for the 2 projections to arrive on a truck. They pulled up onto the dock from the water in a truck, the water was weightless and showed no signs of movement, did not splash or show signs of wetness on the truck or projections.

Most of my prior dreams do not allow me to hurt anything, as if my punches are going in slow motion or I have no strength, so I find this one more intriguing as I finally was able to stop the horrific outcome, with my own horrific outcome. lol.

I was under the influence of cannabis when I feel asleep, but this is nothing new.

So, did I officially have a lucid dream?

Thanks in advance, I'm going to go check out the rest of the site and see what others have done.
