Hello everyone
I'm not exactly new in dreamviews.com. I used to post here years a go with the nickname Ghost94, but now that I'm starting a new lucid life and I kind of want to start everything from the beginning, I figured I'd make a new account.
A little bit about myself and lucid dreaming. So, I didn't start out as a natural oneironaut. I started out like everyone else, when I was something like 13 years old. I found out about lucid dreaming, and learnt to do it. I was so hooked to it. I trained and trained and did everything I could, I dedicated myself to it completely. And about 6 nights a week, I had a lucid. I call that the golden era of my lucidity. I wasn't super good at stuff like controlling and stabilizing my lucids, but I could induce them easily. After that golden era I kind of just stopped lucid dreaming for some reason, and I tried comebacks lots of times, but the same thing happened every time: after a couple of weeks of doing it I just stop for some stupid reason. But now I'm making my life better every way I can, and lucid dreaming is one big part of that. So, I'm back for good.
The golden era that I had made me a very natural lucid dreamer. I experience intense sleep paralysis at least about once every two weeks because I've trained myself to stay conscious during those kinds of stages. And all I need is just a little trying and BAM I have lucids again.
I decided to get back to LD:ing a couple of days ago, after experiencing a veery low lucidity lucid dream. Yesterday was the first day that I did reality checks and read about lucid dreaming to put that into my mind for the night, and I had my first real lucid last night. It was pretty crap though, lucidity was low and I was just about to wake up anyway so I was in light sleep. But regardless, that's pretty fast in my opinion. I know lots of people might have to try months to get their first lucid, so I feel extremely lucky.
Oh yeah and I'm a man, 20 years old and from finland as you might have guessed
Very nice to be with the community again, and this time for real
