Hello All,

I'm rekindling an interest in Lucid Dreams. I first became interested in LD and OBE in the late 1960's and late 1970's. I had some interesting experiences and some success with both phenomena. After many years I've decided to revisit the field of Lucid Dreams (OBEs can wait awhile).

I am absolutely amazed to see how much is available today, not only on the Web but books, online courses, scientific studies, dream forums, etc. The amount of information is truly a quantum leap from 45 years ago.

I started keeping a dream journal about 2 months ago. After about 5 weeks I finally had a Lucid Dream. It was quite thrilling and lasted maybe 5 minutes or more. Now I'm having difficulty waking up again. I'm doing a fair number of exercises: the dream journal, self-hypnosis mp3s, lucid dreaming apps, hypnogogic awareness, meditation, WBTB, MILD, and anything else I can think of.

I'm just feeling a bit frustrated. I have no intention of giving up but I do get discouraged at times.

Anyway, I just wanted to say hello and join the community of fellow lucid dreamers. Hopefully I'll find tips and encouragement to help me along in this forum.

Thanks,
Dennis.
