Questions about WILD
Ok, I'm a noob at WILD, but I plan to go to bed in a little while, sleep 5 hours, wake up and try, but I am a little concerned about some things..
1. Does everybody get sleep parylsis while doing WILD's?
2. Some guy said while doing a WILD, his phone rang while under SP, and he couldn't get himself out of the trance to answer it.. How easy is it to get out of SP?
That's all I'm really worried about right now.. I'll add more later, if I think of any others.
Also I would like to say one thing.. I think I'll reeeallllly be good at WILD's, because I've been going into hypnotic states and experiencing the vibrations since I was 10.. I didn't realize I was doing something that could be manipulated in such a way.. I remember whenever I couldn't get to sleep, I would always try to get the "shakey feeling" to help me get back to sleep..

"shakey feeling" heh nice, sounds like something our dumbass president would say. maybe we should make that the official new term to replace, "the vibrations"
hmmmm i heard if you breathe really deep and try to move your pinky, you can break SP rather quickly. not that you would need to....
ps. i always thought that "shakey feeling" was demons fucking with me! like my bed was moving or something. boy was i dumb

I had a LD where I was under sleep paralysis. I was sleeping and suddenly I felt a heavy clamping feeling on top of me and I couldn't breathe and I felt like all the air was being crushed out of me. I had this strange sensation near my neck like I was choking and I suddenly felt like I was being attacked and I thought, "I'm being raped... " and that was when I got freaked out enough to start moving my arms around and I went into a thrashing fit. It was really hard lifting my arms too, because I felt like they couldn't move.

While it's normal to have feelings of tension or stress while in SP, it's not common - as far as I know - to feel anything that physical and threatening. I think that might have been what's known as "Night Hag Syndrome" or "Old Hag Syndrome", and has to do with malevolent entities. Don't worry, Ive never heard of any permanent physical harm done to anyone experiencing this, just a period of fear and discomfort, followed by a darained feeling. I'd light a white candle though; it couldn't hurt. ;)

I came upon this link and it mentioned that back in the old days people used to believe that there were malevolent spirits on top of them, like a succubus, I suppose. It said that most people do experience SP once in their lifetime.
I've already had SP happen to me twice though. Twice. This summer.
