I've never had a lucid dream lasting longer than 10 seconds. It's not that I get too excited, it's that when I become conscious, my dream just fades away within a few seconds and I wake up. None of them have been FAs, I do a reality check before I have breakfast every morning. I'm going to keep a dream journal by my bed and attempt to recall my dreams every morning and do reality checks as often as I can, because WILDing doesn't seem to work for me. I don't know if it's that I can't figure out the right time to wake up, or if I'm doing something I shouldn't when I'm awake for the 30-45 minute gap between the time you get up and go back to bed to attempt a wild, but when I try to do it I never get to the stage of hypnagogic imagery. Every attempt I make, I simply lie in bed until I can't be bothered at all trying to stay aware and repeat my mantra. The attempts usually last 30-60 minutes.

I'm getting off topic here, let's start over.

Hi! I'm Ethan, and I'm very interested in lucid dreaming, and I'm really glad to know there are so many others here like me on this forum. I hope to have a wonderful time here and in my dreams, with the aid of this website. Buffalo buffalo Buffalo buffalo buffalo buffalo Buffalo buffalo. What do you mean? That sentence made perfect!
