Hello! I'm new here!
Hey DreamViews. Just joined here, in the hope that I can achieve my ultimate goal in Lucid Dreaming.
I recently found out about the subject, and was fascinated by it. I mean, the ability to control your dreams, become master of your mind? I believe this is the secret to unlocking human mysteries, and begin to consciously use the 87% of brain power that we supposedly don't.
I attempted to incubate an image into my head last night. I would think of it over and over, and play it out like a gif image. I guess I knew it wouldn't work on my first try, and it didn't.
I haven't given up hope however. I want to keep trying, I've already been using a dream journal too.
That sums up my experience of LD :D

Hello, Philosophic! Welcome to DV! :D
It sounds to me like you have already made some progress, even though you've just joined us, that's great! As for not working on the first try, the only time I got close to having a WILD was the first time I tried it, so trust me when I tell you there are no definite rules about this. ;) Keeping a dream journal is really the best you can do, and I also recommend doing reality checks during the day.
I hope you have a good time here, it's a lovely place if you want to get advice, learn from others or if you want to share what you've accomplished! I suggest you start a workbook too, I find it very important to write down the things you've tried and what did and didn't work. :)
