new to this site, not new to lucid dreamin

Hello everybody, Im Cody, im 28 years old, live in Nebraska, i actually came across this site because i was looking online for some dream interpretation, i have been having lucid dreams since i was a little boy, after having my first experience with a lucid dream i thought it was the greatest thing ever. I tried to force myself to have them with no such luck, i have probably one a month and wish it was one every night. Im really hoping the techniques on this site, and help from other members will help me induce them. There is nothing greater than realizing that you are indeed dreaming, and can control most of what is going on. I have learned that the mind can play tricks on you in your lucid dreams that will make you think your lucid dream is reality. That has happened to me a few times and those dreams were never pleasant. Nothing is scarier than having a lucid dream that you know u are dreaming but then some weird twist happens that makes you beleive it is reality. I just had an unpleasant lucid dream that turned non-lucid a few nights ago, i will find the appropriate thread and post about it there. It was creepy.

      Hi there! Welcome to dreamviews!

Good to hear you have some ld experience and are thirsty for some more. I know that feeling all too well. I have been having 1-2 lds a month for years until last year when I started getting more serious about it. Registering here helped me a lot too. The site has lots of info and what I like the most is that you can share your experiences with others, get advice on techniques, so that you don't have to walk the path to ld alone. Putting the effort is of course still your responsibility but having someone to talk to about it can actually save you lots of time. You also can inspire others or be inspired by what they do by sharing your dreams, ideas for tasks, dream control and so on.

Looking forward to reading your experiences and ld feats! See you around!
