      Greetings!

      Hello everyone!

My name is Jeras and I'm from Lithuania. I'm glad to join this fine community
For a while now, I've been having lots of interesting and vivid dreams, I've also managed to document some of them while I could still recall them. (Making yourself write something just after waking up is a real pain )
I remembered having a few dreams before, where I was conscious of the fact that I was dreaming, even though I would quickly loose my lucidity after that, as if the dream world would quickly reassure me that "Nope, you're not dreaming".
So, not too long ago I decided to look into it, if there is a way to trigger that consciousness more often, since the thought of being able to explore the dream world while being aware of it seemed extremely exciting. By reading up on it I stumbled upon your community, which surprised me at first. After lurking for a bit and seeing some of what could be seen I was pretty sure that this is pretty much what I was looking for.

So that's my back story. I'm more of a lurker, but I hope we'll get along nicely

      Good to meet you Jeras

Ahahaha, indeed! That's why I always use a voice recorder these days, it's way more comfortable and allows me to ramble around. If I was writing the stuff down, I'd bet I wouldn't be able to read it later on!
Yup, it's really surprising what some people join and share, I never thought there would be a forum for these kind of experiences as well xD See you around!

Trying out MILD? This is how you become skilled at it.

      Welcome to DV, Jeras!

I'm pretty sure we've all had our fair share of dream journalling annoying experiences x) One thing you van also try is to lay there and recall everything you can first. Try to repeat them in your head over and over (kinda memorize them) before you start writing. Not sure if it'll work for you but it did for me. I do that because I realized that once I recall a dream and start writing right away, I tend to forget the other dreams much faster as I am writing the current on down.

Oh and enjoy browsing/lurking/anything, remember there's an off-topic forum with fun stuff as well.

If you need anything, ask away! Good luck.

Maybe it's a dream and if I scream, it will burst at the seams.
