      Smile Greetings from India!

      Hello, fellow dream travellers!

I've been reading about lucid dreaming for a few years now, and I've always been extremely in awe of the sheer power of this discipline. But I've always been reading ABOUT it, and everytime I thought about learning it for myself, something inside me said "Meh, you won't be able to do it."

But I believe there's nothing completely random in the universe, and just as I was taking another of my articles-about-lucid-dreams-reading flights of fancy, I stumbled upon this website. Thank you, universe!

I am truly glad to find such a great resource with a flourishing community of people partaking in this amazing exploration of dreams.

I've started reading the 'Introduction to Lucid Dreaming' thread. I hope to join the ranks of you guys soon!

      Cheers!

Welcome ravingnomad, glad you found us ^^

That's a nice way to find Dreamviews, normally we got people stumbling upon us in their first lucid dream search in google and stuff like that. I guess you were the other way around Don't worry about being capable, I also had doubts at first and lucidity came exactly in the first night, which eclipsed all the fears that it wasn't possible. Just remember that any night can be a lucid night, even if you are taking a few days off from your regular practice and exercises! We'll surely wait to see your experiences if you wish to share them, and if you have any doubts just post away

Thank you for the welcoming words, guys!

People find you in their dreams on Google? You've got the SEO thing down even in the dreamscape. Kudos!

I've started keeping a journal of my dreams. I guess developing dream recall is an important part towards achieving lucidity. I got a cricket related dream yesterday that I more or less remembered properly, but I think it was towards the end of my sleep cycle. I might've had others that I forgot.

I've got a couple of reality checks ready, so hopefully sometime soon I'll be on an adventure and be able to use them.

      Thanks a lot!

Welcome! What reality checks do you use? Remember that even simply questioning if you're dreaming right now can serve as a good reality check to train yourself. If you need anything, don't hesitate to ask. Good luck!

Maybe it's a dream and if I scream, it will burst at the seams.
