      Red face Befriending your subconcious

"Dreams are symbols from the subconcious mind that need to be interpreted."

I am really new to DV, but i am passionate about finding others who share a curiousity and passion for dreams and what they mean. I have been practicing lucid dreaming for what has been a little less than a year, and have slowly been able to manipulate my dream world. I am very dedicated in the study of psychology and literature, both which are and have been highly influenced by dreams. I am looking forward to learning more about dreams and the subconcious mind. I would love to hear your experiances with lucid dreaming and dream interpretations.

      Sweet dreams everyone

Welcome to DV, Kurdle! Nice to meet you.

What are some of your favorite lucid dream experiences? I alas have only had one LD thus far since I returned to the hobby after years of not practicing, but my favorite lucids years ago included: a long argument with the dream figure of my dad whom I told that he was a figment of my imagination and he argued back why can't this be his dream; a nightmare of being chased by vicious dogs which I then turned into cardboard dogs with a stare upon becoming lucid; and flying out of a window into the sky and into outer space. I really look forward to having more lucid dreams again hopefully soon. How often do you have lucid dreams, and which methods do you use?

I also enjoy dream interpretation, it is a fun mystery solving challenge. I am glad you do too, since it is more interesting the more people interpret dreams because different people can have very different takes on same dream, and I enjoy reading those. I look forward on reading your interpretations of dreams.

      Best, Joanna

I think you will find exactly what you are looking for here at Dream Views. Personally, I believe the best interpreter is the dreamer.
