My name is Martin, I'm from Sweden but been living in Norway since 2008.
I had my first lucid dream 2 years ago after watching walking life and a couple of youtube videos about lucid dreaming.
I managed to levitate over my bed for awhile and then slowly float into the living-room before I woke up.
After that I read more about it and got really interested in learning more, but my work and living conditions made it hard so I didn't make any more progress back then.
Since then I've had many dreams where I've known its a dream but not been able to affect them without waking up. One thing I've noticed since my first lucid dream is that I don't get scared of nightmares anymore.
I've had many nightmarish dreams after that where I know its a dream and if I don't try to affect them and just tag along they ofter take a turn down some ridiculously crazy road anyway. or is it me taking then there without knowing it?
I quit my job 1 month ago and its much calmer at home so now I'm ready to learn and make some progress
The best thing is I'm not going to work for at least 6 months and I have 2 months at home before I'm of to India so I will have much time for dreaming
I've poked around here on the forum and listen to the Dreamviews podcast and found its full of awesome tips and guides. Looking forward to learn from you all
