Just found this forum, glad I did. First let me say none of this is new to me. I been fascinated with dreaming for as long as I can remember. I am a lucid dreamer. My favorite kind of dreams is WILD. Here's the kicker, I also suffer with sleep apnoea. It takes me hours to fall asleep and difficult for me to stay asleep, often waking up 4 to 6 times during my sleep time. I just want to say this has not stopped my lucid dreaming!

I do not always dream lucidly. But always remember my dreams probably because I wake up so often. My favorite kind of dreams is being stuck in both wake and sleep mode, I believe this is the sleep paralysis state. I've had various levels of this, even in full lucid state! Occasionally they are scary. I once dreamed I was lifted off my bed and thrown against my wall repeatedly. Paralyzed I could not actually move or snap out of that state. I was stuck in between being conscious and unconscious. Other times I've had lucid dreams that I controlled, those are the rarest but I do get them. I also get reoccurring dreams, and often am able to resume dreams after interruption caused by my sleep apnea.

I say this because if any one is just starting to experiment with all this and may be not getting the results desired, don't give up! It's worth it when u do succeed. And if I can do it with my sleep disorder, you stand a better chance!
