Welcome on board Joe! |

Hi Everybody!! I came across this site about a week ago (awesome forum!!!), but this is my first post. I'm trying to come with a good plan involving auto suggestion, and in reading what some of the previous members have written on the subject, I noticed a few people said that they had made an AS script (usually using a text-to-speech program) that contained phrases such as "You are dreaming". Would it make sense to have a recording that says "I must be dreaming", and use a recording of one's voice as opposed to a speech engine? I remember someone saying that the mind would consider a voice other than to be more authoritative, which makes sense, but here the goal would be to mimic the conclusion that sparks LDs as opposed to suggesting the person come to the conclusion, if that makes sense. The main problem with this is that your inner voice doesn't really sound like your speaking voice as other people hear it or as you hear it. I've been trying to LD since coming across this site last week. No LDs yet (although I know I will sooner or later) but I have slept like a baby thanks to Melatonin, Valerian and good old fashioned horse tranquilizers... |

Okay, well my advice would be to just stick with it. Personally, my best success has been using a combination of MILD (which is basicall auto-suggestion) and WBTB. It sounds like you've only been working at it for about a week, so be patient -- sometimes it can take awhile before you see results. Don't give up! |
