OK, DILD is a lucid dream, that starts out as a regular dream. So you go to sleep normally and in your dream you realize you are draming. For this to happen, you must train your mind to alert you when you dreaming and get you conscious. You do the training during day and as you falling asleep. The practice is really easy and takes just a few minutes couple of times a day. You can read about how to train for DILD here.
WILD is a lucid dream that you enter from waking state. You do it after at least 4.5 hours of sleep and you let your body fall asleep first, so you are still aware when dreams start. I'm not gonna lie, it's tons of fun. But it's not so easy to achieve as DILDs. That's why it's recommended to start with DILDs to get a feel for lucid dreaming. I'm not saying you shouldn't try WILDs, but at the same time it would be a good idea to practice for DILDs.
There are some classes opened in DV academy for intro to LDing, WILDs and DILDs and meditation and other cool stuff, check it out, may help you decide.
I'm not sure if binaural beats are hypnosis, but they do temporalily change your brain wave length.
Happy dreams
