Greetings from Boston - New to forum but have LD most my life

Figured I would pop in and introduce myself.

I'm Drake from Boston.

I have had the ability to lucid dream most of my life however it was always for short periods of time and I could never control it. Without trying I would attain lucidity about once every month or two.

I guess I have a natural ability to WILD so I am here now to learn how to control it. I look forward to reading more of the forums and learning more about the people here.

Three days ago I had my first WILD where I had control and the ability to manipulate my environment. I was also able to push past a fear of mine and because of it I had a very long and involved LD that was amazing.

Please feel free to take a look at my journal or point me in the direction of other WILDers who may have similar experiences.

Awesome to know you're a natural lucid dreamer :P The only other person i know that WILDs intentionally on a regular basis is Mancon. He's one of the dream guides (staff that are dedicated to help with lucid dreaming) around here.

Welcome to Dreamviews. Dream Control and dream length have been always an issue for most of us lucid dreamers. I suggest you check the official Dream Stabilization Tutorial to know more on how you can prolong your dreams and the official Dream Control Tutorial to know more on how you can fully control your dreams. Just be patient and confident and I'm sure you'll be able to control your dreams seamlessly in no time. If you've have enough time, be sure to visit the forum's chatroom to hangout with your fellow DV folks(be warned though, people in there tend to go loco). Feel free to ask it if you've got questions. I can tell you that ever since I have joined this site I have had a LD of some form or shape every day since (four running). So just researching, looking around and actively engaging my mind on the subject has been helpful.

:welcome: How do you normally become lucid? Do you get spontaneous WILDs from sleep paralysis? Do you just notice during regular dreams? Does the information around this site agree with what you have experienced?

I am new here myself! Like you, have had Lucids all my life but would like more control.
